Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information JobsBazaar.pk ("we", "us") collects when you visit jobsbazaar.pk, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details. When you create a free member account we collect your name, email address and a password (stored only in a protected, hashed form). We send a one-time code to your email to confirm it.
  • Profile details you choose to add. A school or academy name and logo, used on the papers you make.
  • Your activity. Quiz and mock-exam attempts and scores, the papers you make in Paper Maker, questions you report, and posts or comments you write.
  • Messages. Anything you send us by email or phone, including your name and contact details.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring page and the time of the visit. We keep a limited, anonymised record of visits to understand which pages are useful.
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see section 4).

2. How we use your information

  • To run the site: sign you in, save your scores, build your dashboard and let you download your papers.
  • To keep the site safe: prevent spam, abuse and fake accounts, and protect accounts with sign-in limits.
  • To improve the site: understand what is used, fix errors and decide what to add.
  • To reply to your messages and corrections.
  • To show advertising that helps pay for the site (see section 3).

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Advertising, Google AdSense and third parties

We may use Google AdSense and other advertising partners to show advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

We also use Google Analytics to measure visits. It collects information such as pages viewed and approximate location through cookies. You can prevent Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Our pages may link to other websites, such as official recruitment portals or social networks. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use:

  • Essential cookies to keep you signed in, protect forms from forgery, and remember your unfinished quiz on your device.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to count visits and see which pages help people.
  • Advertising cookies from Google and partners, when ads are shown.

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all cookies or keep only the essential ones. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site data in your browser, or through your browser settings, which also let you block or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies may stop sign-in from working.

5. Sharing your information

We share information only with: service providers that help us run the site (such as hosting and email delivery), analytics and advertising partners described above, and authorities when the law requires it. Other members never see your email address. On leaderboards we show only your first name and the initial of your last name, and the school name only if you added it.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account and activity while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile, scores, papers and reports, except where we must keep a record by law or to prevent abuse. Visit statistics are kept in anonymised form.

7. Your choices and rights

  • See or correct your name and school details on your dashboard.
  • Ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account, by emailing care@jobsbazaar.pk from the address you signed up with.
  • Opt out of personalised ads and analytics using the links in sections 3 and 4.
  • Unsubscribe from any email we send you by replying "stop".

8. Children

JobsBazaar.pk is used by students and job seekers. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We protect your information with secure connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, sign-in limits and access controls. No online service is completely secure, so please choose a strong password and keep it private.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we make important changes, we will say so on the site.
