The Pakistan Army has announced recruitment of Junior Commissioned Officers (JCO) in the Army Education Corps (AEC). This is a good opportunity for science, computer science and commerce graduates who want to serve the country as educators within the Army. Registration and recruitment run from 01 November 2026 to 15 December 2026 at Army Selection & Recruitment Centres across Pakistan.

Eligible Subjects
Candidates must hold a B.Sc / BS degree in one of the following subjects:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Mathematics
- Biology (Zoology / Botany)
- Geography
- Computer Science
- Commerce
Candidates with BS or MS qualifications will be given preference.
Age Limit
- Civilian candidates: 20 to 28 years, calculated as on 28 February 2027.
- Serving soldiers: 20 to 35 years, with 1 to 16 years of service.
Physical Requirement
- Minimum height: 5 feet 6 inches (167.5 cm)
Required Documents
Bring the following documents at the time of registration:
- Original educational certificates along with attested photocopies
- Four passport-size photographs
- Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)
- Domicile and State Subject Certificate (for Azad Kashmir candidates)
Selection Process
- Application form: Collect the prescribed application form from your nearest Army Selection & Recruitment Centre and submit it there.
- Initial test: An intelligence and psychological test is held at the selection centre.
- Written exam: Candidates who pass the initial test take a written exam covering English, Urdu, Islamiat, General Knowledge, History and the candidate's chosen subject. Choose your subject (from the list above) when you apply.
- Medical and interview: Candidates who clear the written exam go through a medical examination and an interview.
